ERP Systems Analyst

Here's what you'd do:

• The ERP Systems Analyst will provide First Level ERP and EDI knowledge, support the ERP user community within the client, and assist as needed.
• The ERP Systems Analyst will report directly to the ERP Systems Manager.
• Day-to-day ERP systems production support and administration.
• Work with other teams to design and implement process improvements (EDI and Integration teams).
• You will be part of a crucial team in implementing solutions and delivering results.
• Improve or create new reporting to manage business activities using Report Writer and forms on the iSeries, SSRS, or COGNOS.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT activities/processes.
• The Systems Analyst will also participate in a Business System implementation's entire lifecycle (Kickoff, business analysis, functional specification, system configuration, design, testing, documentation, and training) while interacting closely with the end-user to meet specific needs.
• Learn the capabilities and limitations of the client's Business Systems to properly and creatively utilize features to meet end-users needs.
• Assist in preparing business cases, feasibility studies, and project plans.
• Facilitate smooth system implementations through coordination in the planning and communication of critical events.
• Learn, obey, and comply with the company's safety rules and policies.
• Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and policies outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality, and Environment programs (IATF, ISO 14001).
• Other duties that may be assigned.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Computer Studies or Finance or Materials or Manufacturing.
• Experience supporting ERP systems and EDI in a manufacturing environment, like CMS and TLi.
• Experience supporting IBM iSeries systems in a corporate environment.
• SQL experience with IBM DB2 Database on IBM iSeries.
• Experience working in a large manufacturing environment.
• Experience with MS Office.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Manufacturing Certification in APICS.
• Good understanding of EDI documents such as 830, 862, and 856 (ASN) with a general sense of material logistics functions.
• Programming skills in iSeries RPG ILE, SQL/400, and Query/400.
• Familiar with standard manufacturing and supply chain terms and methodology.
• Solid functional understanding of label and laser printers RF devices for scanning purposes such as incoming material inventory movements and customer/vendor shipments.
• A good communicator who has demonstrated solid team skills.
• Knowledge of MS SQL SSRS.
• Good focus on manufacturing in an automotive and fabrication environment.
• Able to work independently and within a group setting.
• Perceptive, responsible, and accountable.
• Team player.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00 per year
