The Opportunity

Acumen Agency is seeking an experienced Luxury Fashion Brokerage, Personal Styling & Wardrobe Concierge Director to develop and lead our global luxury fashion and wardrobe services business.

This is a highly relationship-driven, sales-focused business development position serving high-net-worth individuals, executives, celebrities, professionals, collectors, corporations, and luxury consumers .

The Director will develop relationships with luxury fashion houses, designers, boutiques, retailers, resale platforms, collectors, stylists, personal shoppers, wardrobe specialists, and affluent clients.

The role is fundamentally about business development and sales — identifying clients, understanding their needs, sourcing opportunities, building partnerships, closing transactions, and developing recurring luxury fashion and wardrobe services.

Responsibilities

• Acquire high-net-worth individuals, executives, celebrities, corporations, and other luxury clients.
• Develop relationships with luxury fashion houses, designers, boutiques, retailers, department stores, resale platforms, auction houses, and fashion professionals.
• Facilitate the purchase, sale, sourcing, and brokerage of luxury and designer clothing, handbags, footwear, watches, accessories, and other fashion assets.
• Develop personal shopping and personal styling services.
• Help clients build, manage, organize, upgrade, and maintain luxury wardrobes.
• Develop closet organization, wardrobe management, and closet design services.
• Assist clients with wardrobe liquidation, including identifying items for resale, consignment, private sale, or auction.
• Source buyers and appropriate marketplaces for clients seeking to sell designer and luxury items.
• Develop relationships with luxury resale and consignment businesses.
• Coordinate wardrobe cleaning, tailoring, alterations, repairs, restoration, storage, photography, shipping, and other services through qualified providers.
• Develop relationships with personal stylists, image consultants, tailors, seamstresses, wardrobe managers, photographers, and other specialists.
• Create recurring wardrobe-management and personal-shopping relationships.
• Develop corporate and executive wardrobe services.
• Develop VIP shopping experiences and luxury fashion concierge packages.
• Identify opportunities for international sourcing and cross-border luxury fashion transactions.
• Prepare proposals, service packages, quotations, and commercial arrangements.
• Negotiate transactions, commissions, referral agreements, and strategic partnerships.
• Recruit and develop additional fashion business development professionals as the division grows.
• Train and teach other business development professionals how to identify, approach, and acquire luxury fashion clients.
• Build Acumen's international network of luxury fashion and wardrobe service providers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in luxury fashion, personal shopping, styling, fashion sales, luxury retail, fashion brokerage, wardrobe management, or related business development.
• Strong network within the luxury fashion industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to acquire clients, generate sales, and develop high-value relationships.
• Excellent sales, networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of luxury fashion, designer brands, resale markets, and affluent consumer expectations.
• Comfortable working with high-net-worth individuals, executives, celebrities, collectors, and corporate clients.
• Strong discretion and professionalism.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently develop a business pipeline.
• Experience building or leading a sales, fashion, styling, concierge, or business development team is an asset.

Compensation & Career Opportunity

This position initially operates on a performance-based compensation structure , tied to successful transactions, client acquisition, recurring service contracts, and business development results.

As the division grows, there is an opportunity to transition into a full-time salaried executive leadership position , with the potential to build and lead Acumen Agency's global luxury fashion, wardrobe, and concierge division.

Work Arrangement

Remote | Global | Flexible

The position can be performed remotely, with international travel and in-person meetings as appropriate for clients, fashion houses, retailers, events, and transactions.

Specialized services such as authentication, appraisal, alterations, restoration, transportation, insurance, and other regulated or technical services will be coordinated through appropriate qualified professionals and authorized providers where required.
