The Opportunity

Acumen Agency is seeking a Jet & Aviation Brokerage Director to develop and lead our global private aviation brokerage business.

This is a sales, marketing, and business development role for someone comfortable operating in the private aviation and aircraft brokerage space.

The Director will develop relationships with individuals, corporations, executives, charter clients, aircraft owners, operators, aviation companies, and other industry participants, while helping clients source and arrange private aircraft solutions through Acumen Agency.

The primary focus will be private jets , while opportunities may also include other aircraft and aviation services.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Acumen Agency's jet and aviation brokerage practice.
• Acquire private aviation clients through direct outreach, networking, referrals, marketing, partnerships, and industry relationships.
• Develop relationships with CEOs, executives, entrepreneurs, corporations, high-value clients, travel professionals, and other potential aviation buyers.
• Source aircraft and aviation solutions through relationships with operators, charter companies, owners, brokers, and aviation providers.
• Develop a global network of aviation partners and suppliers.
• Respond to client requirements and identify appropriate aircraft and aviation solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, presentations, and commercial offers.
• Negotiate commercial arrangements and facilitate transactions between clients and aviation providers.
• Develop recurring corporate aviation accounts and long-term client relationships.
• Promote Acumen's aviation brokerage services through appropriate marketing and business development channels.
• Develop referral relationships with corporate travel firms, luxury service providers, wealth-management professionals, business executives, and other relevant networks.
• Identify opportunities for aircraft sales, acquisitions, charter, leasing, and other aviation transactions.
• Track prospects, transactions, commissions, revenue, partnerships, and profitability.
• Build and lead an aviation business development team as the division expands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in private aviation, jet charter, aircraft brokerage, aviation sales, luxury services, or related business development .
• Strong sales and business development background.
• Comfortable working with high-value and executive-level clients.
• Excellent networking, prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Existing relationships with aircraft owners, operators, brokers, charter companies, corporate executives, travel professionals, or affluent clientele are highly valuable.
• Strong understanding of private aviation and the aircraft charter/brokerage marketplace.
• Ability to market and sell high-value aviation services.
• Commercially minded and results-oriented.
• Strong discretion and professionalism when working with private and corporate clients.
• International aviation experience is an advantage.

Compensation & Career Opportunity

This position begins on a performance-based compensation model , tied to successful client acquisition, aviation transactions, brokerage activity, and measurable revenue generated.

As the aviation business develops and the candidate demonstrates consistent results, there is an opportunity to transition into a full-time salaried leadership position overseeing Acumen Agency's global aviation brokerage division.

High-performing candidates may ultimately build and lead a national or international aviation brokerage organization.

Work Arrangement

Remote | Global

This position can be performed remotely while developing aviation business and relationships across international markets.

All aviation services and transactions will be conducted through appropriately qualified and authorized aviation providers and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
