Economic Development Leader - Dawson City

Shape the future of the City of Dawson as the Economic Development Leader. This non-union position involves leading strategic initiatives in economic development and housing while managing community-focused projects. As an integral part of Dawson's planning and development strategy, you will work closely with diverse stakeholders and apply your project management skills to advance priority projects. Your ability to analyze economic data will facilitate informed decision-making and effective investment attraction. - Drive strategic economic and housing initiatives
- Secure funding and write successful grant applications
- Cultivate partnerships with local stakeholders
- Analyze and report on market conditions and feasibility
- Oversee multiple projects and priorities effectively
- Degree in Economic Development, Planning, or similar
- 3-5 years' relevant experience in economic development
- Proven grant writing and project management experience
- Familiarity with municipal governance and funding
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence needed
