Finance Department Accounting Clerk Role

Become an integral part of Chief Isaac Group of Companies as an Accounting Clerk. Based in Dawson City, you'll manage daily finance functions and ensure all records are precise and up-to-date. As an Accounting Clerk, you will support our finance department through tasks like data entry and processing invoices. Your role includes reconciling accounts payable and receivable while preparing essential financial reports. This position is not only critical for our operations but also for promoting community and cultural integration. Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and maintain financial data with accuracy
• Track and process accounts payable and receivable promptly
• Conduct bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies
• Assist with financial report preparation as needed
• Manage payroll by calculating wages and deductions

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel
• Effective communication skills for resolving billing issues
• Solid organizational and time management abilities
• Financial experience is an advantage
