Key Responsibilities Delivery of municipal and territorial water, sewer, transportation infrastructure, and land development/site servicing projects for clients across the Yukon.
Directing and hands‑on management of planning and feasibility studies, pre‑design, detailed design and contract administration assignments for public and private sector clients.
Collaborating with other engineering disciplines and professionals to complete projects under the direction of a project coordinator or project manager.
Managing junior staff and multi‑disciplined project teams; leading the planning and design of territorial highways, municipal road works, and municipal infrastructure including sewage lagoons, solid waste facilities, water, wastewater and storm‑water conveyance and pump stations.
Financial management of projects including budget forecasting, resource management, change‑order management, and client invoicing.
Developing proposals, budgets and schedules, and ongoing business development and liaison with clients.
Capabilities and Credentials Working knowledge of municipal infrastructure (water, sewer, storm systems) and roadway and highway design guides.
Experience in the north and with permafrost is considered an asset.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven project management experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized post‑secondary institution.
P. Eng. designation or eligibility for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers Yukon.
Preferred minimum 8 years of related work experience.
Typical office environment with computer work and occasional field work.
