Job Description

Pan of Gold is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook (NOC 63200) to join our kitchen team in Dawson City, Yukon. The successful candidate will prepare and cook menu items, maintain food quality standards, and support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes

Prepare ingredients and maintain food preparation areas

Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen

Follow food safety procedures and company policies

Monitor inventory and report shortages

Assist with receiving and storing food supplies

Work efficiently as part of a kitchen team

Requirements

Previous cooking or kitchen experience is an asset

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Ability to stand for extended periods

Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time position

Minimum 35 hours per week
