Become a Registered Nurse in the 8 East Respirology Unit at Humber River Health, joining a dedicated team that is committed to innovative and compassionate healthcare delivery. This full-time, temporary role supports rotating shifts in a cutting-edge healthcare environment. In this role, you will focus on caring for patients suffering from respiratory ailments, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your experience will contribute significantly to our goal of delivering tomorrow’s healthcare today, with a strong emphasis on utilizing advanced technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for ventilated and acutely ill patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Assess and plan care effectively
- Document patient care accurately using tech
- Mentor nursing students and new staff
- Licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS certification or plan to obtain
- Experience in respiratory care preferred
- 2 years of acute care experience recommended
- Strong organizational and teaching abilities
