Humber River Health Unit Aide Position

Become an integral part of Humber River Health as a Unit Aide in the Intensive Care Unit. This part-time role offers flexibility across shifts, including weekends, to maintain vital patient support. In this position at the Wilson site, you will support patient care and ensure smooth operations within the Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities include properly stocking supplies, assisting with patient transfers, and engaging positively with the ICU team and volunteers. You’ll be essential in creating a safe environment for effective patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain supply levels and cleanliness in the ICU
• Aid in the transportation of patients and equipment
• Ensure safe and timely patient transfers
• Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care
• Participate actively in maintaining hospital standards

• Minimum high school completion and sterile processing understanding
• Two years of relevant hospital experience preferred
• Clear communication in English is essential
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the role
• Proficient in basic computer operations for reporting
