• Provide quality nursing care and education to patients
• Contribute to unit and hospital quality improvement efforts
• Complete required continuing education for professional development
• Mentor and guide new staff and students
• Perform additional related nursing duties as necessary

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BCLS Certification preferred, to be obtained within 3 months
• BScN and IV Certification preferred, to be obtained within 3 months
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
