Social Media Manager

Our client is a successful and rapidly growing digital media brand with a highly engaged audience across YouTube, Instagram, Patreon, and other social platforms. For over seven years, they have built a loyal community through authentic storytelling, ambitious projects, and meaningful audience engagement. As they enter an exciting new phase of growth, they are looking to add a Social Media Manager to their team. 

This is a brand-new position with the unique opportunity to work alongside a well-established content brand that is expanding its partnerships, sponsorships, and business development activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and managing brand relationships while helping identify new revenue-generating opportunities that align with the organization's values, audience, and long-term vision. 

The Role 

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading sponsorship and partnership initiatives across the company's digital channels, with a primary focus on YouTube. This individual will build and maintain relationships with brands, manage partnership opportunities from initial outreach through execution, and support additional business development initiatives that contribute to the continued growth of the brand. 

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, adaptable, and experienced in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, digital media, or sponsorship sales. Experience working with content creators, influencers, or YouTube-based brands would be considered a strong asset. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Build and nurture relationships with brands that align with the organization's audience and values. 

• Identify, pursue, and negotiate sponsorship and partnership opportunities across YouTube, social media, and related digital channels. 

• Manage inbound partnership and sponsorship inquiries. 

• Coordinate partnership campaigns, deliverables, timelines, and reporting requirements. 

• Develop and maintain long-term brand relationships to maximize partnership value and recurring revenue opportunities. 

• Research and identify new opportunities for product placements, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, and strategic partnerships. 

• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless execution of sponsored content and partnership commitments. 

• Support merchandise and licensing initiatives by evaluating vendors, suppliers, and partnership opportunities. 

• Conduct market research, obtain quotes, compare vendor options, and assist with procurement-related activities for various projects. 

• Assist with travel coordination, partnership outreach, and logistics related to content creation projects and special initiatives. 

• Maintain accurate records of partnership discussions, agreements, and campaign results. 

• Provide ongoing recommendations to enhance partnership performance and business development efforts. 

• Perform additional administrative and coordination duties in support of the growing business as required. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, digital media, marketing, or a related field. 

• Demonstrated success building and managing professional relationships with brands and external stakeholders. 

• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills. 

• Experience supporting sponsorship, influencer, creator, or partnership campaigns from initiation through completion. 

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities with strong attention to detail. 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment. 

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while remaining collaborative and engaged with a remote team. 

• Strong business acumen and ability to identify revenue-generating opportunities. 

• Experience working with YouTube creators, content brands, or digital-first businesses is considered a significant asset. 

• Knowledge of merchandising, e-commerce partnerships, affiliate programs, or creator economy business models would be an asset. 

• Proficiency with common business, communication, and project-management software. 

• Ability to operate with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
