Office Manager

Join our team and help support the critical work of the Moose Jaw Fire Department through professional, confidential, and efficient administrative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
-Coordinate payroll, attendance tracking, vacation and leave records.
-Assist with departmental budgets, business planning, and financial administration.
-Prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and departmental records.
-Support administration of policies, procedures, and collective agreements.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and records.
-Assist with emergency management and social services planning activities.
-Review incident reports and maintain departmental records systems.
-Coordinate office procurement, travel arrangements, and administrative assets.
-Provide customer service and reception support.
-Support office security, workplace safety, and other administrative functions.
-Participate as a member of the Fire Department Management Team.
Qualifications
-Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience would be and asset.
-Experience with payroll, budgeting, records management, and confidential administrative functions.
-Municipal, emergency services, or unionized environment experience is considered an asset.
-Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
-Strong attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism.
-Knowledge of administrative, payroll, purchasing, and records management practices.
-Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and collective agreements.
-Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.
-Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
