Take the lead in enhancing financial controls as the AVP of Accounting & Financial Controls, reporting to the Vice President of Finance. Oversee ICFR, operational accounting, and reinsurance for financial excellence. This senior leadership role demands an experienced professional with a CPA designation and a strong background in financial controls, particularly within life insurance. You will manage and enhance the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR), coordinate audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to foster a robust control environment. Your leadership will guide internal teams and ensure compliance with financial standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance the ICFR program through scoping and risk assessment
• Manage internal and external audit requirements
• Oversee operational accounting and reinsurance reporting
• Lead quarter-end deliverables and meetings with senior management
• Mentor and develop high-performing finance teams

Requirements:

• CPA designation with a relevant university degree
• 10-15 years of business experience, 5 in leadership roles
• 5 years of experience in life insurance accounting
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
