Audiology Clinic Office Assistant

Job Responsibility:

Elgin Audiology has an immediate opening for an Audiology Clinic Office Assistant for our office in Stratford with reception, patient intake, audiologist support functions.

We are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of experience in a health care / administrative assistant setting. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills with all ages and is able to handle a multi-tasking role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Front desk reception coverage
• Significant phone responsibilities
• Booking, scheduling and billing appointments using computerized scheduling software
• Maintaining office area including clinic clean up duties
• Supporting audiologists and preparing patient rooms for appointments
• Hearing aid cleaning, shipping & receiving and troubleshooting procedures
• Other administrative duties including scanning documents, filing, copying, etc

Job Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in relevant field or equivalent job experience
• 2-3 years of work experience preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Exceptional telephone etiquette
• Ability to work both independently and within team environment with frequent interruptions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
