PWM HYDRAULICS
PWM Dynamics is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement across our hydraulic-cylinder operations. The successful candidate will work in a precision, high-mix manufacturing environment and collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities:Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to reduce cycle time and waste.
Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Support capacity planning, line balancing, scheduling, and process optimization.
Use time studies, KPIs, and data analysis to support evidence-based decisions.
Work with Quality to reduce defects and improve process capability.
Improve jigs, fixtures, tooling, and ergonomic setups.
Support safe, efficient manufacturing processes and risk-reduction initiatives.
Collaborate on CNC, welding, automation, machining, and assembly processes. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
25 years of manufacturing experience; hydraulics or machining experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous-improvement methods.
Experience with CAD, ERP/MRP systems, and data-analysis tools.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
Experience with CNC, welding, robotic automation, or manufacturing processes. Preferred:
Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, components, sealing systems, and pressure testing.
Experience with CNC turning, deep-hole drilling, honing, grinding, or welding.
Understanding of tolerances, fits, and GD&T.
Experience with SAP, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or Python.
