As a key player in Hitachi Energy Canada’s Legal & Integrity team, you will engage with internal teams to deliver pragmatic legal advice and safeguard company interests. Your role involves drafting commercial agreements, managing negotiations, and decreasing risks across operations while promoting strong corporate governance practices. An agile mindset is essential for navigating varied legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and review contracts aligned with business goals
• Collaborate with teams to define contract terms
• Assist in risk assessment and internal approval processes
• Lead negotiations with clients effectively
• Provide insightful legal guidance across business functions
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in business/commercial law
• Quebec Bar member in good standing
• Bilingual in French and English
• Strong skills in drafting and negotiation
• Excellent communication and accountability skills
