Engineering Support Services Lead Calgary

Shape the clean energy landscape as an HVDC and FACTS Engineering Lead, providing vital engineering support for pioneering energy projects. Drive performance through your specialized knowledge. This key position entails managing front‑end engineering design and ensuring the successful execution of HVDC/FACTS technologies.
You’ll be involved in developing technical specifications, conducting design reviews, and witnessing crucial factory tests. Additionally, you’ll enhance industry presence through presenting and participating in technical committees.
Key Responsibilities Oversee engineering design for HVDC projects
Develop specifications and evaluations for projects
Review designs and prepare for factory testing
Collaborate on business development initiatives
Represent in technical forums and present proposals
Requirements Bachelor’s in electrical engineering
At least 15 years of experience in the energy sector
10 years focused on HVDC/FACTS technologies
Robust skills in communication and client management
Willingness to travel frequently for projects
