Director of Legal Services with Mallette, SENCRL

Join Mallette, SENCRL as the Director of Legal Services, leading strategic initiatives in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region. This role combines legal expertise with community-focused service delivery. As the Director, you will oversee the formulation and execution of the legal department's strategic objectives while ensuring effective team collaboration. Reporting directly to the Management Committee, you will manage essential legal projects and resource allocation, driving efficiencies and compliance within the firm. Your leadership will promote legal excellence and innovative solutions across diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop legal department's annual strategic planning and budgeting
- Coordinate action plan implementation while engaging stakeholders
- Report monthly progress on initiatives to Management Committee
- Ensure effective service delivery throughout Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean
- Assist in HR activities including recruitment and employee development
- LL.B. with a Quebec Bar or Chambre des notaires membership
- 7-10 years of corporate legal experience
- Strong skills in communication and relationship management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Self-driven with high ethical standards and integrity
