Family Practitioner at Cowichan Clinic
Cowichan Urgent and Primary Care Centre
Join a dedicated team as a Family Practitioner at the Cowichan Urgent and Primary Care Centre. This role offers comprehensive patient care, including telehealth and in-person services, with flexible appointment options. The Cowichan Primary Care Network is seeking Family Practitioners for its new clinic. Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health workers, and Registered Nurses to provide care for patients of all ages. The position requires a proactive approach to managing chronic diseases and women’s health needs while focusing on relationship-building with patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions
- Oversee chronic disease management for health needs
- Provide care for women’s health and mental health
- Conduct both telehealth and in-person appointments
- Offer same-day and pre-booked access for patients
- Current CPSBC licence (Provisional status)
- Eligibility for Canadian College of Family Practitioners
- CMPA membership required
