Our client is sourcing for a General Accountants for 6-month assignment to permanent opportunity.

About the Opportunity

• Perform full-cycle accounting work
• Maintain ledgers, prepare journal entries, and check supporting entries
• Draft financial statements, segment reporting, and other ad hoc reports
• Manage fixed asset or inventory accounting
• Conduct financial data analysis
• Complete general ledger reconciliations, including bank account reconciliations
• Prepare or significantly contribute to standard periodic reports, including cost reports, trial balances, balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and statements of sourcing and application of funds
• Prepare commentary or explanations for report items of particular interest or significance, using judgment to identify relevant items
• Conduct investigations of relevant accounts
• Contact operating or staff personnel to explain data, obtain information, or identify additional available data
• Provide limited advice on accounting matters, as required

About You

• 4 years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience with either SAP or Navision is a must-have
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented
• Intermediate to expert Microsoft Excel skills
• Good knowledge of the organization’s existing systems and the ability to handle most regular issues independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to take ownership of work
