Our client is sourcing for a Senior General Accountant for 6-month assignment to permanent RESPONSIBILITIES: This position performs full-cycle accounting work involving any, or all of, the following: Prepare and maintain the month end, quarter end and year end closing entries and account reconciliations for various global entities Assist in the preparation of monthly management/departmental reports as required Assist in the external and internal audit process and annual tax returns Prepare/oversee various monthly filings including HST, regulatory and other business compliance filings Liaison with other departments across the company to ensure timely and accurate financial results Continuously improve operational and financial accounting processes and challenge status quo Support the finance team on various ad-hoc projects REQUIREMENTS: Mandarin speaking CPA/CGA/CA Designation or nearing completion 4 years of progressive experience in a similar role (industry or public practice) Strong knowledge of ASPE and IFRS Experience in working in a Global multi-entity environment is an asset Experience with either SAP or Navision is a MUST HAVE Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills Experience in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude, ability to work independently with minimal direction Self starter with ability to take ownership Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and detailed Pay Rate $45.00 / Hour How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
