Senior Estimator to Construction Humo Restorations Inc. Location 131 Whitmore Rd suite 24 Woodbridge, ON Salary 30.00 to 59.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 80 hours per week Full time To be determined Starts as soon as possible Benefits: Other benefits Languages English Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Experience 5 years or more Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Estimating Quantity surveying Responsibilities: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements Prepare master format estimates (Class A) Prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D) Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms Utilize quantity take-off procedures Advise on tendering procedures Analyze tenders and recommend awards Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems Monitor and adjust contract expenditures Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge AutoCAD MS Excel MS Word Type of experience Civil Commercial and/or industrial construction Industrial construction Institutional construction Residential construction Structural engineering Contractors Project size estimating experience 0 to 100,000 1,500,001 to 4,000,000 4,000,001 to 8,000,000 8,000,001 + 100,001 to 500,000 500,001 to 1,500,000 Area of work experience Purchasing, procurement and contracts Project coordination Additional information Security and safety Bondable Confidential security clearance Transportation/travel information Own transportation Willing to travel Own vehicle Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Personal suitability Client focus Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Organized Team player Proactive Benefits Other benefits Free parking available On-site recreation and activities Other benefits Team building opportunities Until: 2026-06-09
