Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings between $80,000 - $90,000 / year. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Additional Information / Successful Candidate will be required to:
• Have head office selling key account management experience within Grocery and/or Convenience channels.
• Work strategically with the Director of Sales and Commercial Operations to build and plan field execution strategy and priorities

Overview

Serve as the primary liaison between the local market and designated suppliers; work to develop strategic direction for supplier priorities to meet volume and value targets through optimal allocation of resources and adherence to brand strategy/standards. Achieve customer objectives, key performance indicators and targets by implementing strategies and tactics.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain the relationships between the Company and regional customers to form long-term partnerships
  • Drive brand success through leadership selling, trade channels and actively supporting the selling efforts of sales reps, district managers, and key account specialists within the wholesaler
  • Take a lead role in Supplier Planning Initiatives, including supplier meetings, programming communication, and business review/planning meeting with SGWS leadership
  • Create/deliver marketing programs/plans for use in the field, present new program ideas, and efficiencies, and obtain senior leadership buy-in
  • Plan, execute and evaluate sales, promotions, and marketing of brands
  • Ensure all retail programs fall in line with standards regarding tracking and execution by coordinating with Pricing, Business Intelligence, and Finance
  • Utilize available analytic tools (Tableau, ACD, EzFocus, etc.) to identify opportunities in consumer shifts/trends, channel dynamics, key accounts, etc.
  • Prepare reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for teams and stakeholders Set program objectives and measure ROI with a KPI scorecard
  • Oversee funds related to local marketing and brand planning, while ensuring brand pricing and gross profit are aligned to strategy by channel

  • Favoriser le succès des marques grâce au leadership commercial, aux canaux de vente et en soutenant activement les efforts de vente des représentants, des directeurs de district et des spécialistes des comptes clés chez le grossiste
  • Jouer un rôle de premier plan dans les initiatives de planification avec les fournisseurs, notamment les réunions fournisseurs, les communications liées aux programmes et les réunions de revue et de planification des activités avec la direction de SGWS
  • Créer et livrer des programmes et plans marketing destinés au terrain, présenter de nouvelles idées de programmes et d’optimisation, et obtenir l’adhésion de la direction générale
  • Planifier, exécuter et évaluer les ventes, promotions et activités marketing des marques
  • S’assurer que tous les programmes de détail respectent les normes de suivi et d’exécution, en coordination avec les équipes Tarification, Intelligence d’affaires et Finances

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure all program tracking is accurate, timely and aligns with regional and individual province reporting
  • Create, coordinate, and attend on-site promotional functions at established customer accounts (e.g., winemaker dinners, product launches, and tastings).
  • Familiarize yourself market competitors, and remain apprised of trends/developments within specific product categories, geographic regions, and accounts
  • Support POS / VAP planning and buys
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

  • Utiliser les outils analytiques disponibles (Tableau, ACD, Ez Focus, etc.) afin d’identifier les opportunités liées aux changements et tendances des consommateurs, à la dynamique des canaux, aux comptes clés, etc.

  • Superviser les budgets liés au marketing local et à la planification des marques, tout en veillant à ce que les prix et la marge brute des marques soient alignés sur la stratégie selon les canaux
  • Veiller à ce que le suivi de tous les programmes soit exact, effectué en temps opportun et conforme aux exigences de reporting régionales et provinciales
  • Créer, coordonner et participer à des événements promotionnels sur site chez des comptes clients établis (ex. : dîners avec vignerons, lancements de produits, dégustations)
  • Se tenir informé des concurrents du marché et des tendances et développements relatifs aux catégories de produits, aux régions géographiques et aux comptes
  • Soutenir la planification et les achats de matériel POS / VAP
  • Exécuter toute autre tâche connexe assignée

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years of relevant experience, must have valid driver’s license
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook/email), and specialized business applications software
  • Strong written, communication, presentation and analytical skills required to facilitate, persuade, and manage discussions with all levels of management and external stakeholders
  • Interpersonal skills are required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and relevant stakeholders
  • Understanding of wine, spirits, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities on tight deadlines and maintain a high level of quality output
  • Ability to work flexible hours which include early morning evenings, weekends, and travel if necessary

Qualifications minimales

  • Connaissance du vin, des spiritueux, etc.
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets et priorités avec des délais serrés tout en maintenant un haut niveau de qualité
  • Capacité à travailler selon un horaire flexible, incluant tôt le matin, en soirée, les fins de semaine, ainsi que voyager au besoin
