Requirements Management Engineer in Halifax

Weir Canada is hiring a Requirements Traceability Engineer for a permanent hybrid role in Halifax, NS. Support the Royal Canadian Navy's River Class Destroyer project with model-based systems engineering and data analysis expertise. This role requires an experienced engineer skilled in managing requirements processes. You will conduct architecture modeling sessions, review technical specifications, and work with subject matter experts. A strong focus on safety and risk management is expected to ensure effective project outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute Requirements Management processes
- Conduct architecture modeling and data analysis sessions
- Review system documents and technical specifications
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and clients
- Promote a culture of safety and risk management
- Must obtain Canadian government security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
- Strong English communication skills
- Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS desirable
- Familiarity with MBSE frameworks and OOSEM implementation
