Montreal Chief of Risk and Information Security

Alteo is hiring a Chief Information Security, Risk and Compliance expert based in Montreal. Drive IT risk management and compliance while ensuring business continuity and customer security needs are met. This role involves shaping governance frameworks and leading risk management strategies. You will implement comprehensive security systems, conduct audits, and ensure the ongoing integrity of operational controls in alignment with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish governance structures for information security
- Develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders
- Conduct risk assessments and implement controls
- Coordinate responses to IT security incidents and audits
- Oversee compliance documentation and reporting processes
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT or equivalent
- Over 10 years of experience in systems auditing
- Knowledge of financial regulations and risk management
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP preferred
- Proven leadership abilities and team management experience
