Wills and Estate Lawyer

Key Responsibilities - Manage Wills & Estates files from start to finish.
- Meet clients independently and provide practical legal advice.
- Draft Wills, Powers of Attorney, and related estate documents.
- Review and explain documents to clients.
- Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
- Manage deadlines, follow-ups, and client files.
- Work with legal support staff while maintaining responsibility for files.
- Meet a monthly collection target of approximately $20,000-$25,000.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the applicable provincial law society.
- Proven experience independently managing Wills & Estates files.
- Strong experience drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney.
- Confident conducting client meetings and providing legal advice.
- Strong communication, drafting, organization, and client-management skills.
- Comfortable working primarily in-office and meeting clients in person.
