Technical Onboarding Specialist

We're looking for a technically capable Technical Onboarding Specialist to guide AirMason clients from kickoff through a successful handbook launch.

This role is a mix of technical implementation, project management, and client education. You'll configure accounts and access settings, coordinate HRIS and SSO setup, validate employee data, troubleshoot issues as they surface, and keep multiple implementations moving on clear timelines while coordinating handoffs across copywriting, design, compliance, integrations, and Customer Success.

The right person for this role is not just technically curious and methodical, but also organized, client-focused, and confident explaining complex systems in plain language. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their portfolio, spots blockers before they become delays, and steadily improves the way onboarding works as we grow.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout onboarding and implementation
• Configure client accounts, employee groups, access settings, and permissions, and guide clients through the technical requirements needed to launch
• Coordinate HRIS and SSO setup and testing, and help clients prepare and validate employee data prior to launch
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across data, configuration, access, and integrations, escalating with clear context when needed
• Manage multiple implementations simultaneously, tracking milestones, dependencies, outstanding requirements, and next steps
• Coordinate handoffs between onboarding, copywriting, design, compliance, integrations, and Customer Success
• Lead onboarding calls, platform walkthroughs, training sessions, and launch-readiness reviews
• Maintain accurate project documentation and client records, and proactively surface blockers to clients and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve platform usability, onboarding processes, and documentation

• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new platforms and tools quickly
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, employee data systems, and a basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and data feeds
• Comfort working with CSV files, spreadsheets, data imports, and basic data validation
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients clearly and confidently
• A logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting and a willingness to investigate independently before escalating
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across a full portfolio of clients
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, with the ability to use them thoughtfully to improve workflows, solve problems, and work more efficiently
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment where priorities may shift
