Associated Fire Safety Group provides firefighting and safety equipment, services, and support to fire departments across Western Canada and the Territories. Our warehouse team plays an important role in supporting customers, internal departments, and daily operations by ensuring products, equipment, and orders are received, organized, picked, packed, and shipped accurately.

We are hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Processor to join our Burnaby Head Office and Warehouse.

Position Summary

This is a full-time Warehouse Order Processor position based out of our Burnaby warehouse. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving inbound shipments, inspecting products, organizing stock, picking and packing orders, preparing shipments, and helping maintain accurate inventory records, as well a cleaning and organizing for a safe and efficient warehouse operation.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail is important, as this role supports accurate order fulfillment, inventory movement, and timely shipments to customers and internal teams.

Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, or a similar role is required. Experience using Acumatica, ERP or inventory management software is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Process incoming products and ensure items are directed to the correct stock location, department, order, or staging area.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Support same-day shipping goals whenever feasible.
• Complete shipping documentation, labels, and related paperwork accurately.
• Support cross-docking of inbound shipments by directing products to stock or preparing them for outgoing orders.
• Organize stock, partial orders, pickup orders, and staged shipments to ensure efficient access and order flow.
• Assist with regular cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
• Support accurate stock movement and product tracking within the warehouse.
• Assist with serialized inventory and more complex warehouse procedures as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Contribute to warehouse organization, layout improvements, and process improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, or a similar role is required, along with current DG Certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using computers and learning ERP or inventory management software.
• Experience with serialized inventory or complex warehouse procedures is an asset.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Reliable, accountable, and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s licence is required.
• Forklift licence is required.
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Steel-toed safety boots are required due to the warehouse environment.
