As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Accounting team by adding an additional Junior Accountant. Reporting to the Controller, the Junior Accountant will support the department by performing a variety of accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. This role is responsible for managing daily and month-end accounting functions related to inventory, capital assets, financing, and other balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review inventory sale transactions for accuracy
- Manage financing of all inventory and rental assets
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile capital assets and rental fleets
- Prepare salesman commission calculations
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts at month end
- Assist branch personnel with inquiries and requests
- Other related duties as assigned

Training, Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Desire to enroll in CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) is considered an asset
- Degree or diploma in Accounting or Business discipline

- Salary between $40,000 - $50,000 depending on skills and qualifications

Working Conditions: The Junior Accountant is based out of the Surrey office and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday.
