Accounts Payable Specialist — 6 Month Contract

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our clients in a contract capacity!

• Full-cycle AP: PO and non-PO invoices, high volume
• 3-way matching (PO, receiving docs, invoices)
• Weekly payment runs — roughly $1M every second week, plus $200-300K weekly for discounted vendors (cheque, EFT, wire)
• Vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancy resolution
• Vendor and internal inquiries on payment status
• Supporting month-end close and audit requests
• No journal entries — this is a pure AP execution role, not a GL/staff accountant seat

• Solid AP background — 5+ years full-cycle AP strongly preferred
• Experience with large ERP systems in a large manufacturing environment (SiteLine V10 experience a big plus, but any large ERP background works)
• Strong communicator — this person interfaces with vendors and internal stakeholders regularly, so it's not just "heads down invoices"
• Comfortable being the only AP person supporting a sizeable, fast-moving business
• Able to start quickly and hit the ground running — minimal ramp-up time given the urgency
