Eurofins seeks a Microbiology Analyst I to perform technical testing and analysis of cosmetics products in a fast-paced laboratory setting. The role involves equipment operation, microbial limit testing, sample preparation, and environmental monitoring over a 12-month temporary contract.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate laboratory equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Perform microbial limit testing and growth promotion tests on prepared media
- Conduct sample preparation, serial dilution, plating, and subculturing
- Monitor laboratory inventory and coordinate supply ordering with supervisor
- Execute environmental monitoring and prepare lab reports on findings
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in microbiology-related industries
- Proficiency with routine and non-routine microbiology techniques and methods
- Ability to operate laboratory instruments and equipment effectively
- Experience with USP, EP, BP, GMP, and GLP standards preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related diploma
- Strong written communication and lab report writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer literacy
