Director of People & Culture at YSM

Lead transformational HR initiatives at Yonge Street Mission (YSM) as Director of People & Culture. This role emphasizes operational excellence in HR functions including recruitment, wellness, and employee engagement. YSM is searching for a seasoned Director of People & Culture to guide their HR strategy. The position requires extensive knowledge in compensation, performance management, and training development, while fostering a healthy workplace culture. You will also play a key role in regulatory compliance and organizational development, driving a diverse and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee annual operational plans for HR
- Enhance policies to attract and retain quality talent
- Drive initiatives for staff development and wellness
- Guide complex employee relations and performance management
- Foster collaboration with other organizations and Christian groups
- 10+ years HR experience, CHRL/CHRE preferred
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation
- Strong strategic and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Commitment to YSM's mission and Christian values
