Take on a pivotal hydrogeologist role at Suncor in Fort McMurray. Leverage your skills in groundwater management and environmental risk reduction to make a significant impact. In this position, you will be a member of an expert team dedicated to reducing environmental risks associated with water management. As a hydrogeologist with at least five years of relevant experience, you will oversee technical assignments and collaborate with various project teams. Your contribution will enhance the sustainability of our operations and resource development efforts. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute hydrogeological studies and assignments
• Assess groundwater system performance and data quality
• Compile and analyze hydrogeological data for key recommendations
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory documentation
• Communicate findings effectively to senior leadership Requirements:
• 5 years of hydrogeological experience in industrial operations
• Bachelor’s degree in geology or related field
• P.Eng / P.Geo. designation required
• Experience with geophysical interpretation is an asset
• Willingness to relocate within 60 km of Fort McMurray Utilize your expertise in groundwater and environmental management to support Suncor’s mission in Fort McMurray.
