Rope Access Insulator for CNRL

Tacten is hiring a Rope Access Journeyperson Insulator for the Fall Turnaround at CNRL in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Utilize your trade expertise in challenging environments while emphasizing safety and quality.

This position requires a Journeyperson Insulator Certificate and IRATA Level 1 certification or willingness to train. Successful candidates will implement insulation upgrades and inspect existing materials to ensure performance. Your role will be crucial in collaborating with project managers and construction teams for best results.

Key Responsibilities: • Install various insulation materials to control heat and sound • Measure and cut insulation to fit specific needs • Secure insulation with appropriate fasteners and adhesives • Inspect insulation for damage or wear regularly • Advise on insulation techniques and materials tailored to environments

Requirements: • Journeyperson Insulator Certificate required • IRATA Level 1 certification or training willingness • Valid driver’s license • Effective English communication skills • CSTS-09 or OSSA BSOCSO safety certification
