Verdant by Copeland is hiring a high-energy Account Executive to build and close new business across the U.S. market. This is a true hunter role you will create your own pipeline book your own demos and drive deals from first contact to close.
This role is ideal for someone with 25 years of B2B sales experience who thrives in prospecting-heavy environments and is comfortable selling via web presentations and phone.
What Youll Be Accountable For
- Build and manage your own pipeline (not lead-fed)
- Prospect daily via cold calls emails LinkedIn and database canvassing
- Book and conduct multiple qualified demos per week
- Maintain active pipeline
- Close opportunities within 212 month sales cycles depending on segment
- Manage all activity and forecasting in Salesforce CRM
- Re-engage dormant accounts to create new opportunities
- Present compelling ROI-driven proposals to US-based decision-makers
- Leverage rebate programs and low-hanging fruit opportunities strategically
- Participate in trade shows (24 annually)
What Success Looks Like in 612 Months
- Consistent demo booking activity
- Strong self-generated pipeline
- Clear understanding of sales targets and forecasting mechanics
- Shortened sales cycles through disciplined follow-up
- Clear communication direct structured outcome-driven
- Demonstrated ownership of book of business
Who Will Thrive Here
You will do well in this role if you:
- Have 25 years of B2B hunting experience
- Are comfortable starting from scratch
- Have strong presentation skills (clear concise structured)
- Understand BANT or structured qualification methodology
- Know how to build a book of business (not wait for marketing leads)
- Are tech-comfortable (Salesforce Outlook Excel)
- Clear English communication as you will sell to majority US-based clients confidently
- Bring energy and urgency to your work
- Are coachable and open to feedback
This Is NOT the Role for You If:
- You rely heavily on inbound leads
- You struggle with CRM discipline
- You need heavy supervision to stay productive
- You are overly senior and resistant to new tools or structured processes
