Our client, is seeking a specialized ServiceNow Platform Analytics Developer & Analytics Specialist to join their data governance and business intelligence division.

In this senior technical role, you will be the central authority on extracting, modeling, and visualizing operational intelligence across the enterprise. You will act as a dedicated expert responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting ServiceNow Platform Analytics and Performance Analytics (PA) components. This includes mapping complex data tables, designing interactive filters, managing data job collections, and utilizing advanced scripting to deliver point-in-time trend analysis and current-state dashboards.

Position Type: Part-Time Contract Engagement (Approx. 20 hours per week)

Duration: 11 months

Location: 100% Remote (Note: Working hours are aligned to Mountain Time / MT; tax work location is listed out of the corporate office in Toronto, ON).

Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Analytics & Reporting
Dashboard Architecture: Design, develop, implement, and maintain advanced data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and filtering patterns across the ServiceNow landscape.

Data Structure Navigation: Utilize a deep structural understanding of ServiceNow data schemas, parent/child tables, and custom database views to aggregate metrics accurately.

Operational Maintenance: Configure, schedule, and validate automated report distribution lists, actively resolving visibility gaps and ownership issues.

Platform Diagnostics: Act as the primary technical point of contact to troubleshoot reporting anomalies, complex filter logic bugs, and visualization rendering errors.

Performance Analytics (PA) & Data Job Collections
Trend Analysis Setup: Configure advanced Performance Analytics parameters, managing indicator setups and diagnosing how nested breakdowns influence metrics.

Data Collection Management: Architect and schedule robust data job collections to safely harvest historical, point-in-time snapshots for strategic forecasting.

Advanced Scripting & Validation: Write and debug JavaScript configurations inside custom PA contexts to validate mathematical logic and compute complex calculations.

Strategic Advisory: Advise technical and business stakeholders on architectural best practices—clearly defining when to leverage real-time reporting versus historical trend analysis.

Qualifications
Experience & Education
Platform Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on ServiceNow platform development and analytics configuration experience within complex enterprise environments.

Technical Stack Fluency: Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, and advanced SQL database scripting.

Multi-Vendor Environments: Demonstrated history of delivering clean technical solutions inside matrixed, multi-vendor corporate structures.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical program.

Mandatory Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is strictly required.

Preferred Assets (Nice-to-Have)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for Platform Analytics.

ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist (CAS) for Performance Analytics.

Prior experience delivering data solutions within government, banking, or heavily regulated compliance environments.
