Strategic Capture Manager at CAE D&S (Ottawa)

Drive large‑scale bid efforts as a Strategic Capture Manager with CAE Defence & Security. This hybrid role involves leading pursuit‑to‑award activities for projects over $100M in value.
The Capture Manager is an integral part of the Business Development team, focusing on developing and executing competitive strategies for significant opportunities within the CAE Lead‑to‑Award framework. With a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the aerospace and defence domains, you will lead multi‑disciplinary teams and innovate compelling proposals to enhance win ratios. Your leadership will influence collaboration across corporate stakeholders and drive strategic customer communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct multi‑disciplinary teams for executable solutions
- Design and implement chance‑focused strategies
- Conduct win analyses and draft management plans
- Guide teams in solving complex pursuit challenges
- Regularly update leadership on project statuses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- At least 15 years of industry experience
- Proven track record in complex capture management
- Strong decision‑making and risk management skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
