Senior Programmer Analyst

This is a full-time, permanent position. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:00pm. While we will consider all locations within Canada, a strong preference will be given to candidates that can work from our office in Regina, SK.
Key Responsibilities-Design and develop desktop software with VB.NET and the Microsoft .NET framework
-Design and develop web-based software for internet facing components
-Create and maintain technical documentation
-Implement application software to support our business processes
-Understand relevant business processes and software objectives
-Understand and implement internal established architectural principles
-Consistently follow company-defined Software Development Life Cycle procedures
-Perform unit testing prior to handing software off to QA
-Tune the performance of the software and SQL Server databases
-Provide support for the maintenance of software applications
-Propose business and technical solutions
