Human Resources Coordinator

Position ScopeDue to continued business growth and organizational expansion, we are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the delivery of HR programs and services across the organization. Reporting to the Human Resources Generalist, this role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, employee relations, HR compliance, training, and employee engagement.Job DutiesProvide support across the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, employee communications, training, and HR compliance.Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and preparing employment offers and onboarding documentation.Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide timely support, guidance, or escalation as appropriate.Assist employees with work permit, visa, and immigration-related processes, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.Support payroll processing and benefits administration by maintaining accurate employee records and updating HRIS databases.Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics, including headcount reports, employee movement reports, organizational charts, and workforce data analysis.Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs.Support employee relations matters and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training programs, recognition activities, and company events.Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as required.Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.2-4 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or coordinator capacity.Solid understanding of BC Employment Standards and HR best practices.Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR systems, including ADP, UKG, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills are considered an asset.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.Immediate availability is preferred.FPS Food Process Solutions Corp. is an equal opportunity employer, and we thank you for your interest in the position.
