Commercial Insurance Advisor

About the Role

Commercial Insurance Advisor – responsible for renewals, sales, prospecting and servicing existing commercial book of business.

What You'll Do

• Provide front‑line sales and customer service for small to mid‑market commercial insurance accounts.
• Advise and counsel new and existing clients on coverage and make recommendations.
• Retain and grow assigned book of business through servicing and writing new business.
• Generate new business via cold calls, letters and inbound/walk‑in clients.
• Work independently under supervision of the Commercial Insurance Manager.
• Help customers find insurance solutions that meet their needs.

What You'll Bring

• Prior P&C insurance sales experience (required); commercial and/or farm insurance experience (asset).
• Valid AIC Level I or II General Insurance License required.
• Valid Alberta driver’s license; occasional travel.
• Strong customer focus and sales acumen.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail.
• Collaborative approach, strong problem‑solving skills, proactive mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accountable, goal‑oriented and self‑motivated.
• Exposure to Epic is an asset.

• Pay: Salary range $50,900 – $62,200 (based on 35‑hour workweek). Additional incentive plan with 10‑15% potential payout.
