DRIVING NANNY WANTED – DON MILLS/YORK MILLS AREA

We are looking for a warm, reliable and energetic part-time nanny who drives and has access to a vehicle to care for our two children, ages seven and four, beginning in September. We will provide the required car seats. The position is Monday to Friday, approximately 2:30–5:0... p.m., and involves picking up our children from two nearby schools and caring for them after school. During September, care will take place primarily within the community. With our support, the nanny will plan afternoons that may include visits to the library, community centre, parks and playgrounds, as well as occasional organized activities. Beginning in October, our home will become the regular after-school home base. Responsibilities will include: Safely and reliably picking up both children from school Planning fun, age-appropriate activities Supervising homework or reading when appropriate Providing snacks or a simple meal Assisting with light meal preparation and household laundry once care transitions to our home We are looking for someone nurturing, responsible and confident caring for two children of different ages. Previous childcare experience and strong references are required. First-aid/CPR certification and familiarity with the neighbourhood would be assets. Compensation is $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
