Nanny Wanted - Experienced Part Time Nanny Needed For Two School Aged Girls, $25-30/Hour, Guaranteed 20 Hours/Week, Long Term Position

We are an active, respectful family looking for an experienced part-time nanny to become a valued part of our family. We have two wonderful daughters, ages 5 and 8, and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with school-aged children and takes pride in helping them grow into kind, confident, and responsible young people. Dad has a demanding career with a busy and often unpredictable schedule, while Mom manages our household alongside an active volunteer schedule and frequent evening commitments with Dad. We're looking for a trusted partner who will work alongside Mom to help keep our home running smoothly while providing a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment for our girls. Our goal is to raise kind, confident, and independent daughters. We're looking for someone who shares those values and enjoys creating a balance of fun, routine, accountability, and encouragement each day. Schedule:

• 20–30 hours per week, with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours
• Consistent shifts on Monday and Wednesday, approximately 2:00/3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• Additional evening hours available Thursday through Saturday, based on our family's schedule and by mutual agreement
• Long-term position

Your Role: Your primary focus will be caring for our daughters while helping our afternoons and evenings run smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• School pick-up
• Creating a fun, safe, and engaging after-school environment
• Preparing healthy snacks, school lunches, and family dinners
• Supporting homework, reading, and daily piano practice
• Helping the girls stay accountable for their routines, homework, and age-appropriate household responsibilities
• Encouraging independence, confidence, good manners, and respectful behaviour through positive guidance and consistent expectations
• Planning crafts, outdoor play, and other engaging activities
• Taking responsibility for the girls' evening routine, including dinner, bedtime preparation, reading, and settling them for the night
• Family laundry
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher, tidying the kitchen, and helping keep common living areas organized
• Light housekeeping to help the household run smoothly

Qualifications:

• Current Vulnerable Sector Check
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• 3–5 years of childcare experience with school-aged children
• Early Childhood Education or a related background is an asset
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is an asset
• Comfortable supervising children around water and able to swim (we have a pool)
