Nanny Wanted - Experienced Part Time Nanny For 2 Kids Wanted In Toronto, Ontario $20 25 Per Hour

Location: Jane and Lawrence, Toronto We’re looking for a caring, reliable, and energetic part-time nanny to help care for our two boys — a 2 year-old and a 7-year-old. The role includes:

• after-school/early evening help (Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 7pm)
• occasional weekend hours
• occasional daytime care when the kids are home sick or out of daycare/school.

What does after-school care mean for our family?

• Arrive at our house to prepare dinner. A simple meal. We provide instructions.
• When the kids arrive, play with the kids either inside or outside at the park across the street.
• Help feed them dinner
• Help us clean up after dinner so we get time to play with our kids
• Supervise them getting ready for bedtime
• May need to assist the toddler with potty time

Rate $20-25/hr. The final rate is dependent on your experience and on how many of the required tasks you will be able to complete. We expect that you will take care of your own transit unless we ask you to stay after 8pm. You’ll help ensure the kids are safe, happy, and engaged — whether that’s playing a game with them, reading stories, going to the park (light rain or shine), or supporting their daily routines. Responsibilities: Provide attentive, nurturing care for both children (toddler and school-aged) Supervise/participate in playtime, crafts, and other age-appropriate activities Prepare and serve snacks and simple meals Manage nap and bedtime routines when applicable Provide after-school care: snacks, walks, play time etc. Comfort and care for children when home sick (following family guidance) Safely accompany children on public transit or short neighbourhood outings Maintain a tidy and safe environment for the children Housekeeping: putting away toys, folding laundry, preparing simple meals and cleaning up after meals Clearly communicate with parents about daily activities, routines, and any concerns Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum 5 years caring for young children (including infants/toddlers) Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and flexible with scheduling changes (with reasonable notice) Safety Focus: Knowledge of basic first aid and child safety (certification preferred) Communication: Clear, respectful, and warm with both children and parents Energy & Engagement: Enjoys play, learning, and spending time outdoors; able to handle lots of boy energy Transportation: Comfortable taking public transit with children References: Able to provide at least two childcare-related references Please visit to view full details and to apply.
