We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage our warehouse facility operations, maintenance systems, safety procedures, service contracts and facility-improvement activities.

Job Duties

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:

Planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the operation of the company’s warehouse facility and related infrastructure.
Overseeing the use, maintenance and repair of warehouse machinery, equipment, electrical systems and mechanical systems.
Developing and implementing preventive maintenance, workplace safety and facility inspection procedures.
Coordinating cleaning, security, waste removal and other facility-support services.
Managing contracts with maintenance providers, equipment technicians and other service suppliers.
Planning and managing the warehouse facility’s operating and maintenance budget.
Overseeing facility improvement and equipment-installation projects.
Preparing reports and operational statistics relating to facility performance, maintenance, safety and costs.
Hiring, training and supervising warehouse facility and maintenance staff.
Education Requirements

·         Completion of a college or university program in business administration, facility operations, maintenance management or a related discipline is required.

·          An equivalent combination of relevant technical training and extensive experience in facility administration or maintenance may be considered.

Experience & Other Requirements

·         A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in warehouse facility operations, facility administration or maintenance is required.

·         Strong communication and leadership skills.

·         Ability to conduct facility inspections and respond effectively to operational and maintenance emergencies in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

·         Proficiency with facility-management or maintenance-tracking systems, budgeting software and standard computer applications is an asset.
