The uOttawa Faculty of Medicine and The Ottawa Hospital are seeking a Head for the Division of Respirology. This senior position emphasizes both academic and clinical responsibilities, holding a joint appointment for exceptional leadership. You will participate in departmental goal-setting and collaborate closely with faculty, hospital, and departmental leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the mission and goals of the Division of Respirology
- Lead academic and clinical services collaboratively
- Participate in administrative activities one to two days per week
- Establish annual objectives with the Department Chair
- Foster research and educational initiatives in respirology
- Extensive experience in academic and clinical leadership
- Strong vision for respiratory health advancements
- Proven collaboration skills with healthcare leadership
- Commitment to setting and achieving objectives
- Active involvement in research and education
