You will perform general repairs, conduct preventative maintenance inspections, and ensure all equipment is safe for operation. Experience with diesel and gasoline systems is essential, as is the ability to perform minor welding and suggest cost-saving upgrades. Key Responsibilities:
• Complete service calls on site equipment both in garage and field
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections
• Identify needed parts from manuals for repairs
• Ensure all equipment is safe and functional
• Provide failure analysis and perform minor welding repairs Requirements:
• Certificate of Qualification in relevant mechanic field
• 5 years’ experience in industrial mechanic roles
• Experience with locomotives preferred
• Understanding of diesel and gasoline systems
• Alternative Fuel Technician license is an asset Utilize your technical skills to optimize equipment safety and performance at Discovery Kidd.
