Position Title: 310T Mechanic - $5000 sign on Bonus
Location: Timmins, ON
Schedule: Flexible – 7 on / 7 off, 10‑hour shifts (4 days a week), Monday to Friday; open to discussing shift and schedule.
Salary & Allowances: $50–$56 per hour plus $5,000 sign‑on bonus; tool and equipment allowance; boot allowance $250 per year.
Position Overview Licensed 310T Mechanic to service our fleet of commercial vehicles in Timmins.
Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities Perform all service and repairs on company vehicles and equipment.
Conduct on‑road service calls as needed.
Perform all levels of preventive maintenance, including inspections, brake work, electrical, tire changes and oil changes.
Ensure all service and maintenance practices meet regulatory requirements for MTO, MOL, and MOE, including signing of MVIS stickers.
Communicate with the Regional Manager for approval of material purchases.
Work safely in accordance with provincial regulations.
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications Valid 310T Truck and Coach License.
Valid G class Ontario Driver’s License.
3–5 years of experience as a licensed mechanic.
Experience with diesel trucks.
AZ/DZ License an asset.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience in waste management considered an asset.
