System Administrator

We are seeking a modern Systems Administrator to support and evolve our core IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and reliable systems while driving automation and continuous improvement.Systems AdministratorYou will work across enterprise platforms including servers, cloud services, identity systems, and networking, ensuring high availability and performance of business-critical services.In this role, you will work within our Datacenter and Operations team supporting a wide variety of initiatives and collaborate regularly with other departments. This position will report directly to the Operational Technology Manager.You Will DoAdminister and support Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise platformsManage virtualization, storage, and backup systemMaintain and support privileged remote access systems and vendor relationshipManage, design and deploy IP camera systemMaintain endpoint systems, authentication services, and access controlMonitor system performance, availability, and capacity planningSupport Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a ServiceImplement and maintain security controls, including firewalls and endpoint protectionParticipate in security incident response and remediationTroubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issueDevelop and maintain documentation, standards, and procedureAutomate routine tasks using PowerShell or equivalent toolCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver IT serviceSupport the corporate security team on both reactive and proactive security remediation tasks and projects You HaveExperience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise infrastructureFamiliarity with Azure and cloud-based servicesKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practicesExperience supporting complex, multi-system environmentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Nice to HaveExperience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)Experience working within manufacturing or wood products manufacturingStorage and backup solutions (SAN, enterprise backup tools)Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell)Familiarity with networking concepts and technologiesCertifications (Microsoft, Azure, or security-related)Education & ExperienceDiploma or degree in Information Technology or related fieldEquivalent experience consideredWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary with an annual bonus opportunity.
