Our Quesnel division in BC is currently recruiting for a Silviculture Coordinator.You'll DoAs a Silviculture Coordinator, you would be responsible for all reforestation activities. This includes developing plans and prescriptions, contract administration, contractor supervision, data collection, reporting, and budget preparation.Program coordination with other members of the Silviculture team and the Planning and Operations Departments.Additional responsibilities include monitoring contractor compliance with safe operating procedures, SFI certification, and health and safety programs. You HaveA forestry, natural resources, or relevant degree or diploma.A Registered Professional Forester (RPF) or Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) designation with the Forest Professionals British Columbia (FPBC).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.2-4 years of relevant silviculture experience.Proficiency with Silviculture software, including CENGEA (LRM), ArcMap, SNAP, RESULTS, and MS Office, will be considered an asset.Flexible work schedule, especially in the spring (planting).
