Data Scientist For Rewards Economy (Toronto)

Lead the innovation in rewards strategy with Mistplay as a Staff Data Scientist. This hybrid role focuses on optimizing reward systems that engage users and generate business value.
Mistplay is searching for a skilled Staff Data Scientist to enhance their rewards economy. In this vital position, you will develop and balance enticing reward systems while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Collaborating with the Data and AI teams, you’ll drive real-time predictive modeling initiatives and improve machine-learning-driven operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement machine learning-driven rewards systems
- Analyze and optimize engagement strategies for business outcomes
- Drive the application of AI for user experience enhancements
- Design contextual bandits for real-time reward distribution
- Partner with teams to translate business goals into algorithmic techniques
Requirements
- 8+ years in Data Science or a related field
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Quantitative fields
- Proficient in Python, PyTorch, SQL for data analysis
- Understanding of reinforcement learning concepts
- Experience in mobile gaming or player behavior economics
